Slovene Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry - Institute of Agriculture and Forestry Maribor is a public institute found  by  Slovene Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry (non-government farmer organization). Institute has a reputation and long tradition in development of Slovene agriculture and performs its services through advise, education, research, analyses, studies and innovations  which improve agricultural products and services. By researching,  advising  and developing a  good agricultural practice to protect environmental resources, preserve biodiversity, natural and cultural heritage and support sustainable rural development in the region. KGZS MB focuses its activities in support of sustainable development of rural areas supporting development of economic activities and innovative business approaches combining environmental and social potentials. KGZS MB is also an important stakeholder in providing expert support in policy development for the sector. As a lead partner or partner has been or it is involved in many EU and Ex-Yugoslav as well national projects regarding to land use, soil treatments  and water management.
