CLM - Centre for Agriculture and Environment is an independent consultancy with 35 years’ experience in the field of sustainable food and farming. CLM carries out research and provides advice to governments at all levels: European Commission, ministries, regional and local. In addition, CLM works with food and retail companies like Heineken and Ahold, for farmers’ organisations as well as for environmental organisations like WWF. The firm also has extensive experience and expertise in communication and facilitation.

CLM’s expertise is rooted in professional practice, supported by our network of forerunner-farmers. Our main scope is the Netherlands, but CLM increasingly works in international projects with food companies and their organisations such as SAI-Platform. Thus, we connect science with government policy, farming practice and the food chain.
